Yes, this sleeping bag is great for cold-weather camping. The high-lofting down, technical hood, oversized draft tubes, and draft collar make the Ascent 25°F and 15°F models true 2.5 – 3 season bags. For even colder conditions, try the Ascent 0°F and pair it with a sleeping pad that has a 3.5 R-Value or higher, like the Comfort Light Insulated.

Is this sleeping bag actually cool in warm weather and summer temperatures?

Yes! This sleeping bag is uniquely equipped with a Free-Flow Zip system, which includes separate zippers on your left and right sides, as well as the foot box, for ventilation. You can also easily transform it into a lightweight comforter for more flexibility.

Can this sleeping bag be zipped to another sleeping bag?

Yes! This sleeping bag can be zipped together with our Women’s Altitude, Journey, and Venture sleeping bag models. The Ascent's regular and long sizes have the same side zipper length.
